    Description

    Mobile App Developer

    Torus Mobile App

    We are looking for senior developer volunteers with solid experience in React Native, Xcode

    and Android OS. The app is available on Google Play and Apple Store

    We are looking to address the following issues:

    • React Native update, including react-native, react-native-reanimated,

    react-native-mmkv

    • All libraries with native code update to support React Native new version &

    Android 15, including react-native-firebase/*, react-native-video,

    react-native-image-crop-picker, react-native-device-info, and more

    • XCode update because Apple is forcing the use of XCode 26 from April
    • Implementing new architecture supporting a new version of react-native-mmkv and

    XCode

    Responsibilities:

    1. Developing Torus App (coding, programming)
    2. Debugging and testing code
    3. Meeting and collaborating with Ramin and the team at least once a week on Zoom
    4. Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues
    5. Approaching problems and creating solutions
    6. Responding within 1-3 hours of an inquiry

    1) Front End: Needs minor changes, including debugging

    2) Back End: Create a production database for the app
