Description
Summary: Safely collect donations from residential and commercial donors. Load and unload items on and off trucks
Responsibilities:
- Work with the driver to ensure the truck is loaded with supplies (tools, hand truck, straps, receipts, etc.).
- Assist the driver with directions from a map or GPS.
- Determine if items are acceptable (usable by clients, clean, functional, in good working order, with all parts).
- Inspect items for health and safety issues (e.g., stains, rips, broken or missing parts, mold,infestations, etc...).
- Respectfully refuse any items that do not meet Household Goods guidelines.
- Request tax-deductible donation.
- Understand Household Goods’ needs (items, volunteers, funding).
- Neatly and accurately record items and cash donation on Donor Receipt.
- Enthusiastically thank donors for generous donations.
- Ensure that goods are safely secured in trucks.
- Assist in unloading of trucks at Household Goods.

- 18 years of age or older

- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday mornings

- 08:45 AM to 12:00 PM
