    Description

    Animal Care

Mammals: We are looking for a volunteer who would like to be trained to feed and care for our resident small mammals on Tuesdays. Work involves feeding, watering, and cleaning the animals' enclosures.

Time required: about 20-30 minutes weekly.

Chickens: We are looking for a volunteer who would like to be trained to feed and care for our resident chickens on Monday evenings, Tuesday mornings and/or Wednesday evenings. Work involves feeding, watering, and cleaning the animals' enclosures, as well as letting them out for the day or putting them away for the night.

Time required: about 20-30 minutes weekly.

Because formal training will be provided by our Animal Care team, we are seeking volunteers who are able to provide us with a long-term commitment.

All volunteers are required to fill out a Volunteer Application. A background check is mandatory for all adults prior to the start of volunteer service.
