    Description

Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts trains volunteers to provide free, individualized, and confidential tutoring to adults in the areas of literacy (basic reading skills for native and proficient English speakers) and ESOL (English as a foreign language for speakers of other languages).

You don't need experience in tutoring or teaching to become a volunteer with us. We run free 18-hour trainings throughout the year to make sure you have all the skills you need.

The next Basic Literacy training runs on the following dates: November 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23 from 6-9 p.m. via Zoom.

Please use this form to sign up for an information session: https://forms.gle/AAxxVT2EtEbzfx7h9 or press the "Website" button under How to Apply.

We have a long list of adults waiting to be tutored, so every tutor counts.
