    Volunteer Podcast Host – Interview an Olympic Legend (Remote)

    🎯 What You’ll Do

    • Conduct a live, remote interview using Riverside.fm (we manage recording)
    • Follow a prepared interview script and questions (provided by our team)
    • Engage naturally with the guest while staying on topic
    • Maintain a professional, warm, and conversational tone

    🔹 Step 1: Understand the Role

    This role is focused on conducting a guided interview, not creating content from scratch.

    • You will be provided with a complete script and questions
    • Your role is to deliver the conversation naturally and professionally
    • You are the on-camera presence representing ICDS.ngo

    🔹 Step 2: Prepare Your Application

    To be considered, please submit the following:

    1. Short Introduction (written)
      • Who you are
      • Why you’re interested in this opportunity
    2. 1-Minute Video or Voice Sample (required)
      • Introduce yourself as if you are opening a podcast
      • Speak clearly, confidently, and naturally
      • This helps us assess communication style and presence
    3. Any Relevant Experience (optional)
      • Podcasting, interviewing, public speaking, media, etc.

    🔹 Step 3: Selection Process

    • Applications will be reviewed by the ICDS.ngo team
    • Selected candidates may be invited to a short virtual screening
    • One primary host will be selected, with possible backup candidates

    🔹 Step 4: If Selected

    You will receive:

    • 📄 Full interview script + questions
    • 🎯 Clear guidance on tone, pacing, and delivery
    • 🧪 Optional rehearsal session (recommended)
    • 💻 Technical setup instructions for Riverside.fm

    🔹 Step 5: Technical Requirements

    To participate, you must have:

    • A smartphone or computer with camera
    • Headphones (required for audio quality)
    • Stable internet connection
    • Quiet, distraction-free environment

    A brief tech check may be scheduled before recording.

    🔹 Step 6: Day of Recording

    • Join the session 10–15 minutes early
    • Follow the script, but keep your tone conversational
    • Stay focused, listen actively, and allow the guest to speak
    • ICDS.ngo will handle all recording and production in the background

    🔹 Step 7: Professional Expectations

    • Be punctual and prepared
    • Maintain a respectful and engaging tone
    • Follow directions from the ICDS.ngo team
    • Represent the organization with professionalism
