    ALCD Kid's Fest 2026

    ALCD is proud to host a Free Family Fun & Learning Festival (ALCD Kids Fest 2026) at John Hunt Park, this community event is designed to bring joy, education, and connection to families across Huntsville and Madison County. Sponsorships, volunteers and community partners are needed to make this event a success.

    This exciting festival will feature:

    • Inflatables & Games for all ages
    • Petting Zoo and hands-on animal encounters
    • Live Music & Youth Performances
    • Face Painting
    • Local Food Trucks
    • STEM Exploration Tables hosted by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center
    • Art Station hosted by Huntsville Museum of Art
    • Fire Truck Demo & Sparky by Huntsville Fire & Rescue
    • Community Giveaways, Vendor Booths, and Family Activities

    Volunteer Duties Before Event Day:

    • Organizing event
    • Helping to obtain sponsors/ give away items
    • Brainstorming Ideas

    Volunteer Duties on Event Day:

    • Setup/ Set down
    • Clean
    • Watch for hazards
    • Direct attendees to different stations
    • Man Tables
    • Face Paint
