Description
Do you enjoy organization and behind-the-scenes work? Bristol Hospice Austin is seeking Administrative Volunteers to support our care team from the office.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with filing, data entry, and preparing mailings
- Making or answering phone calls and taking messages to report to clinical staff
- Help assemble patient admission packets
- Support special projects and events for staff and patients in the community or in the office
- Keep our office running smoothly
Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years old; 18 years old if you're working directly with patients
- Basic computer and office skills is a plus
- Complete Bristol Hospice's volunteer training and onboarding processes
- Pass background check and TB screening (provided at no cost)
This type of volunteer opportunity is GREAT for high-school students who need to complete community service hours or those who are looking to gain experience in healthcare.
Time Commitment: Flexible with your schedule, shifts available during business hours (Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM)
