    Direct Patient Volunteer- Edinburg/McAllen/Mission, TX (Flexible Scheduling!)

    Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering with Amedisys. We’re excited to share an incredible opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact as a Direct Patient Care Volunteer for hospice.

    In this role, you’ll provide companionship, socialization, and caregiver relief to patients and their families during a deeply personal time. From reading to patients and playing games to helping with light household tasks, your kindness and presence can bring comfort and connection to those who need it most.

    The best part? You create your own schedule! Visits are typically up to 2 hours, allowing you the flexibility to fit this meaningful work into your life.
