Position Summary

The Accounting Senior Advisor provides strategic oversight and guidance on the campaign’s financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role advises senior leadership on budgeting, financial planning, and risk management while supporting the accounting team in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise senior campaign leadership on financial strategy, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Provide oversight and guidance on accounting processes, controls, and best practices
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of campaign income and expenditures
• Support compliance with campaign finance laws and reporting requirements
• Review financial reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and accountability
• Assist in planning for major expenditures and fundraising-related financial needs
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Serve as a strategic resource for the accounting and finance teams
