Be part of a growing movement building health, community power, and self-determination in the Black community. The One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market is calling on dedicated volunteers to help bring this vision to life during our 2026 season in North St. Louis.

Our Mission

To ensure access to fresh, healthy food for the Black community, end food apartheid, and build sustainable community commerce by strengthening relationships with Black farmers and vendors — advancing a real path toward African self-reliance and self-determination.

Why Volunteer?

This is more than a farmers market — it’s a space where culture, health, and economic power come together. From fresh produce and African and Caribbean cuisine to local entrepreneurship and community programming, the market is a living example of what self-determined communities can build.

Volunteer Role

Capture the people, businesses, farmers, families, children, culture, creativity, and everyday moments that make One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market more than a market. Your photographs will help tell the story of African community life, entrepreneurship, food sovereignty, and collective power.
