The Gracefull Table Community Kitchen is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to help us pursue funding that will allow our growing nonprofit to expand our programs and work toward establishing a permanent pay-what-you-can community restaurant in Garland.

You won't be starting from scratch. We are developing grant resources, organizational information, supporting documents, prospect lists, and tracking tools to make the process organized and manageable.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with completing grant applications and online applications
    • Draft and refine responses to grant questions
    • Maintain records of applications, deadlines, awards, and follow-up dates
    • Organize required supporting documents
    • Track application status and reporting requirements
    • Maintain grant portal and application information securely
    • Assist with nonprofit development projects as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Strong written communication
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, online forms, and shared documents
    • Organized and able to maintain accurate records
    • Able to meet agreed-upon deadlines
    • Comfortable handling organizational information confidentially
    • Previous grant-writing or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on nonprofit development and grant-writing experience while helping a young local nonprofit grow.
