    Companion Needed for Hospice Patients in Lewis Center, OH

    We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers in the Lewis Center area. We have several patients in the area with a large need for patient companions.

    As a hospice volunteer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients and their families. Volunteers provide companionship and emotional support in a variety of settings.

    Suncrest Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and support to their families. We offer a range of services to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life during this challenging time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
    • Provide short periods of respite care to give family caregivers a break.
    • Assist with light tasks to ease the mind of patients.
    • Participate in patient care plans and attend training sessions.

    Training and Support:

    • Comprehensive training program covering hospice care, communication skills, and volunteer responsibilities.
    • Ongoing support and supervision from experienced staff members.
