Foster Team Coordinator - NY

We are looking for Foster Team Coordinators.

This volunteer will be in charge of the day-to-day foster communication - foster placements, foster changes, foster returns. Experience with rescue, dog behavior and handling is preferred. Looking for a proactive team member that is willing to work in a large team to find temporary homes for rescued dogs.

Compensation: Volunteer

Time Requirement: 8-10 hours per week, more on transport weekends. Specific hours are generally flexible. Timely replies via e-mail and phone are critical to success in this role.

Reports To: Foster Program Manager

Works With: This position corresponds with the adoption team, medical team, and volunteer team on a regular basis.

Skills/Required Qualifications: Must be willing to provide professional references. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; must be responsive and communicative. This role requires a positive and professional demeanor internally and externally.
