INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) OFFICER

Position Summary

The IT Officer supports Paraklet’s digital systems, cybersecurity, and technology infrastructure. This role ensures smooth operations across the U.S. and DRC teams and strengthens Paraklet’s readiness for donor‑compliant digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cloud‑based systems (Google Workspace, OneDrive, CRM tools)
• Provide troubleshooting and digital onboarding for staff
• Strengthen cybersecurity and data protection protocols
• Manage website updates and digital content
• Support MEL and program teams with digital tools
• Maintain IT inventory and procurement (Part‑Time/Consultant)
• Lead digital transformation and USAID‑compliant data systems (Consultant)

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, systems administration, or digital infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Familiarity with nonprofit or development‑sector tech environments

Compensation Options

• Volunteer: 5–10 hrs/week

This role is currently offered as a volunteer position. However, Paraklet Inc. anticipates upcoming funding opportunities, and the position is expected to transition into a paid consultancy or full‑time role contingent upon award.
