    We hope to build a team of ongoing volunteer hosts. Whether you can help monthly, twice a month, or at special events, we will work with your schedule to create a meaningful and consistent volunteer experience.

    Other Requirements:
    Volunteers must attend orientation before beginning regular shifts. Some roles require outdoor work, lifting supplies, and working around animals, hay, and bedding. Volunteers under 18 require parent/guardian approval.

    Description

    Fairytale Farm Rescue & Sanctuary is seeking friendly, organized volunteers to help create a welcoming and positive experience for our volunteer team.

    Volunteer Hosts serve as ambassadors for the farm, helping new and returning volunteers feel comfortable, informed, and connected. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and helping others succeed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Welcome volunteers as they arrive
    • Assist with volunteer check-in
    • Distribute task cards and assignments
    • Help answer basic questions
    • Connect volunteers with project leaders
    • Encourage and support volunteers throughout their shifts
    • Help create a positive, engaging volunteer experience

    Ideal Volunteer:

    • Friendly and outgoing
    • Organized and dependable
    • Comfortable interacting with groups of people
    • Enjoys helping others
    • Experience in customer service, education, event planning, HR, or volunteer management is a plus

    Time Commitment:

    We are especially seeking volunteers who can commit to helping during monthly volunteer days, weekend projects, or recurring events. Flexible scheduling available.
