    Description

    Docent/Tour Guide

A historical museum docent is an eager and enthusiastic volunteer who is dedicated to telling the story of our community. Docents receive training on the areas of the museum that interest them the most, learning more about the history, culture, and artifacts featured in the museum's exhibits. They are passionate about sharing information and stories with visitors of all ages and backgrounds. As a historical museum docent, you will lead groups of visitors (typically not more than 10 per group) on tours of the museum's exhibits, providing them with insights and information about the artifacts they are viewing.
