VOLUNTEER EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Village Little Learners, a program of Village Against Violence, is seeking caring and dependable volunteers to support children ages 1–4 in our early childhood program.

Volunteer opportunities are available during weekday program hours, with flexible shifts.

Volunteers may help with:

• Story time and early learning activities

• Arts, crafts and sensory play

• Meals and snack routines

• Classroom organization and cleanup

• Outdoor and movement activities

• Daily transitions and routines

• Preparing learning materials and supplies

• General program support

We welcome:

• Early childhood education students

• Human services and social work students

• Retired teachers and childcare professionals

• Parents and grandparents with childcare experience

• Community members who enjoy supporting young children

• Individuals seeking volunteer or community-service hours

Volunteers should be patient, dependable, nurturing and comfortable working with young children. Screening and additional requirements may apply depending on volunteer duties.
