    Description

    Overview:

    The Training & Onboarding Volunteer helps new volunteers and team members feel confident using our digital tools. This role is great for someone who enjoys teaching others, simplifying technology, and building a welcoming experience for newcomers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead or support virtual orientations for new volunteers
    • Provide basic training on video calling, communication tools, email access, and digital navigation
    • Assist users with logging in, managing accounts, and accessing shared resources
    • Prepare or update simple training materials or tip sheets
    • Offer follow‑up support to help new team members feel confident and ready to participate

    Ideal Skills & Qualities:

    • Strong communication and teaching skills
    • Patient, encouraging, and comfortable guiding end users
    • Organized, reliable, and able to answer basic technology/platform related questions clearly
    • Enjoys building positive onboarding experiences
