    Ideal Volunteers Are

    • Compassionate and respectful
    • Friendly and comfortable speaking with community members

    • Able to visit local businesses or organizations
    • Comfortable explaining the program in a simple, respectful way
    • Passionate about helping women, teens, and families access basic necessities
    • Bilingual or multilingual volunteers are especially helpful

    Helpful Languages

Bilingual volunteers are a major asset to this initiative. Many families in need may not speak English as their first language.

    Helpful languages may include:

    • Spanish
    • Portuguese
    • Haitian Creole
    • Other languages commonly spoken in the local community

    Why This Matters

Many people who need help do not know this program exists. By helping spread the word, volunteers can connect women, teens, and families to free essentials that may help them stay in school, go to work, care for themselves, and feel supported during difficult times.

This volunteer role helps bring dignity, comfort, and care directly into the community.
