Global Foundation for Girls (GFG) is a Black woman-led intermediary. We move money, training and support to grassroots BIPOC-led groups serving girls, gender-diverse youth, birthing people of color and families in crisis. Since 2020 we've funded about 50 community organizations, including $375,000 regranted through our partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We also support a network of 500+ organizations in the US, South Africa, Uganda, Trinidad & Tobago and Brazil with free toolkits, trainings and capacity building.

Our grants are already written. We have full drafts ready for several foundations and fellowships, plus a grant language bank, funder tracker and deadline calendar. We need an organized, detail-minded volunteer to edit these applications and manage them through portal submission.

You will:

• Edit drafted applications for clarity, consistency and each funder's word and character limits
• Manage each application's timeline, checklist and attachments, and follow up with our team on missing details
• Set up and manage funder portal accounts through our shared password manager, upload everything and save for final review
• Submit after Board Chair approval, file confirmations and keep our grant tracker current

You bring: grant editing or grants management experience (portals like Submittable, Fluxx or Grant Interface are a plus), strong organization, reliability on deadlines, and comfort with racial, gender and birth justice language.

You gain: real, submitted applications for your portfolio, a team title and website credit, and a reference from our Board Chair, who has 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience.
