Description
Help us ensure foster, kinship, and adoptive families have access to essential food items by volunteering in the Jose's Closet Pantry! Pantry volunteers play a vital role in keeping our shelves organized, stocked, and ready to serve families in need.
Volunteer responsibilities may include sorting and organizing food donations, checking expiration dates, stocking shelves, assembling food bags, maintaining a clean pantry space, and assisting staff with inventory. Volunteers may also help unload and organize incoming donations.
We are in need of pantry volunteers from Tuesday-Saturday, from 9-3. Our highest need is morning to early afternoon. We are looking for volunteers who can be consistent to help keep the pantry maintained. We will also accept more flexible volunteers. A food handler's card is required for this position.
