    Description

    Education assistant volunteers assist the Aquarium's education staff with organized group activities and work closely with education staff to provide engaging educational experiences for groups. Applicants must:

    • be at least 16 years old.
    • pass a St. Lucie County background check.
    • be reliable and available for at least 3 hours per week.
    • have an excellent ability to follow directions.
    • Have the ability to learn the provided material related to Florida's marine ecosystems and the organisms maintained at the Aquarium.
    • Be comfortable speaking with groups of all ages and backgrounds.
