    Description

Volunteers are needed to support the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. The main area of need is at our concerts. We need greeters, ushers, ticket scanners and staffing to assist with selling tickets at the concerts. We may need help with setting up the stage for a rehearsal before the concert as well as for the concert itself, followed by clearing the stage at the end of the concert. You will be able to see the concert for free in exchange for your services.

During our concerts, greeters will welcome patrons and direct them where they need to go. Ticket scanners will use their cell phones to scan tickets. Ushers will hand out programs and direct patrons to their seats. There are no assigned seats, just an assigned area. Volunteers will also assist with selling tickets and any after concert parties. Volunteers ensure that our patrons have the best concert experience possible from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

The dress code for JCSO Volunteers is white on top and black on the bottom. Women are required to wear white shirts or blouses and black skirts or slacks. Men are required to wear white shirts and black pants.

The orchestra also needs volunteers to assist with staffing tables at local festivals and walking in the Johns Creek Founder’s Day Parade. Volunteers may also help with mailings and distributing flyers to local businesses.
