Friends-International (FI), an award-winning NGO founded in Phnom Penh in 1994. Our vision is a world where every child, young person, and their caregivers are safe from harm and can access education, training and job opportunities to fulfil their potential as productive, functional citizens of their countries. Our dynamic teams across Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Europe deliver innovative services for children, youth, and communities. Through our Saving Lives, Building Futures, and ChildSafe programs, we focus on child protection, education, vocational training, social businesses, and more!

THE ROLE

As a Fundraising Volunteer, based in HQ in Phnom Penh, You will:

• Supporting donor communications and follow-up activities.
• Keeping donor information accurate and up to date.
• Helping prepare donor updates, reports, presentations, and other materials.
• Assisting with the organization of donor meetings and visits.
• Researching potential companies and organizations that may partner with Friends.
• Supporting fundraising and partnership activities with our regional offices and Communications team.
• Contributing ideas to strengthen donor engagement and fundraising campaigns.

• A dynamic team player who is passionate about working for the protection and education of marginalized children, youth and their families
• A well-organized person who pays attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to manage several tasks and meet deadlines.
• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Interested in partnerships, communications, fundraising, or the non-profit sector.
• Available to volunteer for 6 months.
