    Description

    VOLUNTEER - Social Media Coordinator ( Remote)

    The Indo Project is seeking a creative, mission-driven Social Media Coordinator to help increase awareness and engagement across our digital platforms. In this volunteer role, you’ll plan, create, and manage content that amplifies Indo culture, history, and community initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with our editorial and program teams to promote campaigns, events, and storytelling that support our nonprofit mission. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience managing social media channels, strong writing and storytelling skills, and a passion for cultural preservation and community impact. Flexible, remote, and deeply meaningful work.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
    • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Sprout, etc.) Instagram
    • Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe, CapCut) preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
