    7:00 am to 9:30 am. This is a weekly pantry. We will be flexible with volunteer's availability. Mandatory sex offender screening. Pantry will be closed November 28th 2025 and December 26th 2025.

    Description

    The Salvation Army South of Market Area urgently requires volunteers to help serve those vulnerable members of our community experiencing food insecurity.

    The unique position of Pantry Greeter is responsible for acknowledging and welcoming pantry guests upon arrival.

    This position is also responsible for overseeing guest safety as they await entry to the pantry.

    As the entrance is via a public alleyway this role includes monitoring passing traffic and so does include associated risks.
