Bring Comfort, One Paw At A Time!

Affinity Care of New Jersey Hospice is seeking volunteer teams (owner + certified therapy pet) to enrich the lives of our hospice patients. Your visits will offer moments of joy, comfort, and emotional relief during a tender time.

Requirements:

• Certified Therapy Animal: Most hospices require animals to be certified through organizations like Pet Partners, Thereapy Dogs International, and Alliance of Therapy Dogs
• Health Records for Animal: Vaccinations and reagular vet checks are mandatory.
• Volunteer Training: Hospice specific training (confidentiality, end-of-life care, documentation)
• Background check, TB testing and other vaccination records for human volunteers.
• Reliable transportation, Drivers license and proof of insurance.
