Description
Who we’re looking for:
A self-sufficient, Monday.com-savvy volunteer to manage our project and task boards across annual events and production work, and keep our team aligned on priorities and status.
Scope & Responsibilities:
- Manage and update Monday.com project/task boards for annual programs (workshops, film/photo story development, a street festival, smaller stoop events)
- Lead project management for larger projects (e.g., our street games festival, storytelling workshops/production), typically 2-3 per year
- Handle task management for smaller projects: assign resources, adjust status and priority, keep updates current
- Keep core volunteers informed on what’s coming up, shifting priorities, and whether their tasks are up to date
- Meet regularly with the Executive Director on project status, delays, or needed input
- Host core team meetings as needed and contribute at the monthly team meeting
The ideal candidate has:
- Familiarity with Monday.com and the ability to self-sufficiently manage boards and tasks (required)
- Comfort working independently with minimal oversight, in an informal, collaborative team that still expects real ownership and follow-through
Bonus, if interested (not required):
- Creating printable project plans for non-tech team members
- Updating and improving project templates
- Helping improve how volunteers get information and how monthly meeting time is spent, so more of it goes to connection rather than logistics
