Description
The Vigil Volunteer is a member of the interdisciplinary team with a desire to support patients and families in the Hospice program by being present with patients when they are actively dying, in the final 24-48 hours of life. This opportunity requires the individual to:
- Provide emotional support to Hospice patients and/or caregivers
- Provide presence at the bedside during the final hours
- Report concerns or changes to the Hospice Team
