    Description

    Are you someone who enjoys meaningful conversation and spending time outdoors? We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer to build connection and companionship with an adult living in a residential care setting in the Kent area.

    About the Opportunity:

    • Spend relaxed, one-on-one time chatting and getting to know someone
    • Enjoy fresh air together on a porch or outdoor space
    • Help reduce isolation and brighten someone’s day through conversation and presence

    Location:

    • Adult family home setting in Kent, WA

    Schedule & Commitment:

    • Flexible daytime visits
    • Frequency based on volunteer availability

    Ideal Volunteer:

    • Friendly, patient, and a good listener
    • Interested in building genuine connections
    • Comfortable with a low-key, conversational visit

    Training & Support:

    • Orientation and support provided
    • Ongoing guidance from volunteer coordinators
