Description
Junior Achievement provides work readiness and financial literacy programming for K-12 students. The programming is led by community volunteers, which gives the students a unique opportunity to connect with adults who live and work in their area.
Junior Achievement has a structured curriculum uniquely designed for each grade, complete with PowerPoint slides, handouts, and group activities. As a volunteer for JA Day, you will lead one session repeatedly across multiple class periods. You stay in the same classroom for the day, which lasts approximately 8am - 3pm. All materials are provided in advance, and training is led by Alisha Jones, District Manager of Junior Achievement of Tuscaloosa County.
