Seeking Volunteer Chapter Lead(s) - Phoenix, AZ

Help bring Miracle Messages to Phoenix!

At Miracle Messages, we believe that no one should go through homelessness alone, and no

one should feel helpless on this issue. We are an award-winning nonprofit organization that

helps people experiencing homelessness rebuild their social support systems and financial

security, primarily through family reunifications and a phone buddy program.

Miracle Messages is seeking a caring and community-minded volunteer to help lead and grow our new Phoenix Chapter. This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful community connections while supporting unhoused neighbors in reconnecting with loved ones and strengthening their social support networks.

As a Chapter Lead, you’ll help coordinate outreach visits at local partner sites (such as Andre House, Key Campus, or St. Vincent de Paul dining rooms), introduce your unhoused neighbors to our reunification and phone buddy programs, support a small volunteer team, and build relationships with community partner sites – with training, mentorship, and ongoing support from Miracle Messages staff.

No prior experience is required. We’re simply looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate and community-minded
• Organized and responsive
• Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Excited to help build something meaningful in Phoenix

The time commitment is flexible and varies based on your availability and the needs of the Chapter. Most Chapter Leads contribute at least 8-10 hours of volunteer time per month.

Students, professionals, retirees, faith community members, and anyone passionate about service are encouraged to apply.
