    Description

    Executive Board Member

Healing Hoofbeats of CT is looking to add Executive Board Members to round out an interesting, diverse, and dedicated group of volunteers who support our mission to foster connection and support empowerment through Equine and Animal Supported Psychotherapy.

Healing Hoofbeats of CT is a mental health practice with two locations in Litchfield County, Connecticut where clients visit their Licensed Clinician on our farm, working alongside our Animal Healers. We provide low cost and free therapy for children, adults, and Veterans. 81% of our clients are considered low income, and we provide free therapy and programming for Veterans through our Operation Warrior Horse fund.

Board Members are required to attend a monthly evening Zoom meeting and participate in one sub-committee to help support the organization's mission. Occasional hands-on participation at fundraisers is encouraged.
