    Description

Volunteer half or full days as a 1:1 buddy support for kids and teens with special needs, at InTouch's 1 week Fall Break Camp! Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Need community service hours credit? Come be a Volunteer Buddy for our 1 Week All Abilities Inclusive Camp for youth. Half day or full day options available.

We invite volunteer adults and teens ages 13+ to help create memories for kids of all abilities at our inclusive camp! Each volunteer is paired with a camper to support them in moving freely, making friends, and expressing themselves through a variety of artistic and physical movement activities! This accessible and inclusive camp welcomes kids and teens of ALL abilities to build friendships and discover new compassion skills, through hands-on arts and crafts, creative movement, and a special educational garden field trip!

Our program is unique in how much we rely on the role of our volunteers, so attendance for this commitment is critical. You will be asked to be always actively helping, including helping with set up, clean up, and assisting running activities, and assisting with keeping positive high energy. Also important to note that many of the campers exhibit behavior challenges, so important to be prepared to expect this. You will never be alone and the team is here to support you in supporting your buddy! :) We have a blast!!
