    Description

    BluShues Inc. is a nonprofit organization and ministry dedicated to distributing free Bibles and fostering a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make the Word of God accessible to everyone, both locally and internationally. We believe in the transformative power of volunteers who share our passion for spreading the message of hope and faith.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build positive mentoring relationships with young people participating in BluShues' programmes.
    • Encourage spiritual, personal, and leadership development among youth.
    • Provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support where appropriate.
    • Assist in organizing youth focused Bible studies, discussions, and ministry activities.
    • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for young people.
    • Work collaboratively with parents, volunteers, and ministry leaders where necessary.
    • Identify opportunities to engage more young people in BluShues' programmes.
    • Maintain appropriate records of mentoring activities where required.
    • Participate in volunteer meetings and training sessions.
    • Represent BluShues with professionalism and Christian integrity.

    • Passionate about mentoring and supporting young people.
    • Patient, compassionate, and approachable.
    • Excellent listening and communication skills.
    • Positive role model with good character.
    • Able to build trust and encourage personal growth.
    • Organized and dependable.
    • Committed to safeguarding and ethical conduct.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Education, Youth Development, Ministry, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred but not required.
    • Experience working with young people is preferred.
    • Good understanding of youth development principles.
    • Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
    • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Commitment to continuous personal and spiritual development.
