Reading Program Administrator

This program aims to provide a platform for children to bring the stories they love to live. Kids will have an audience viewing them while reading live on stream. Our goal is to improve their speech and live performance skills while they build up the confidence to branch out into new and exciting challenges. Kids of all ages will have the chance to read a book of their choice LIVE*, including books aligning with the current educational curriculum and our mission.

The one restriction we have is we DO NOT allow any books supporting any subject matter that goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ. If you can not support that, we understand there are many other organizations you can volunteer for.

Each week, different LIVE sessions will focus on different ages and grade levels. After the reading, there will be 1-2 fun and interactive activities to bring the book to life and encourage critical thinking.

Our goal is to livestream once a week, although due to scheduling conflicts, we understand that once a week may make to build up to. As the Program Administrator, you will have a team of 3 to 6 volunteers under you. Some volunteers may be high school students; therefore, you must submit identification verification to be considered for the position. Students also may inquire about letters of recommendation.

Your Role and Main Responsibilities

 Coordinate LIVE book readings and team meetings.

 Host LIVE book readings and events once to twice a week. *Very Important*

 Assist in scheduling parents and kids for every event.

 Coordinate and prepare the children/parents with all the information needed.

 Ensure the reader is equipped for the LIVE event and recording - including the technical side.

 Manage recordings on the YouTube page.

 Team up with the Activity Coordinator for each reading.

 Attend and participate in our weekly team meetings on Sundays @ 5:30 PM PST
