Commitment: A few hours per month (flexible scheduling)
Availability: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Opportunity
Beacon Hospice in Fall River is seeking a creative and community-minded volunteer to help assemble thoughtful goodie baskets that support a variety of initiatives. These baskets may be used for hospice patients and families, as well as staff appreciation efforts, community outreach, and special events.
This in-person opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes in a fun, hands-on way.
What You’ll Do
- Organize and assemble goodie baskets for a variety of purposes, including patient support, Nurses Week, appreciation gifts, and “survival kits”
- Arrange items in a creative, visually appealing, and thoughtful way
- Sort and organize supplies and donations
- Assist with special or seasonal projects as needed
Time Commitment
We are flexible and happy to work with your schedule! Volunteers can contribute:
- Weekly (a few hours each week)
- Biweekly
- Once per month
All volunteering must take place during office hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
