    Description

    LCSNW's Preferred Communities is looking for new mentors. Mentors are community volunteers who will meet socially with the client on a regular basis to practice English and provide friendship.

    May assist immigrants and refugees with the following:

    • Help the clients navigate the local community
    • Understand U.S. cultural norms
    • Assist with information on documents and public services
    • Teach basic tech skills and digital access
    • Transportation to medical visits

    This volunteer position is for an agreed -upon period of 3-6 months or more.
