Join The Solidarity Project Board of Directors: Make an Impact in Honduras and Beyond

Are you passionate about advancing equity, community empowerment, and sustainable development? The Solidarity Project (TSP) Board of Directors invites dynamic, committed individuals to join our all-volunteer team and help drive meaningful change in Honduras and at the organizational level.

    Who We Are

TSP collaborates with Honduran communities to create lasting solutions that foster self-reliance and solidarity. We’re a diverse, passionate group with board members in Missoula, Honduras, New York City, and New Orleans. Our incredible Honduran Project Director—based in and from one of our partner communities—helps guide and execute our initiatives on the ground.

    What We Value

At TSP, we celebrate diversity and inclusion, recognizing the strength of a well-rounded team. We seek individuals with skills in areas such as:

    • Strategic and organizational planning
    • Fundraising and development
    • Marketing and communications
    • Financial management
    • Community engagement and knowledge of local resources
    • Team collaboration and leadership

Spanish language skills are a bonus but not required!

    Why Join Us?

As we transition from a start-up, working board to a more sustainable model with expanded staffing, we need engaged and innovative board members to help us achieve our goals. This is an exciting time to influence TSP’s future and deepen our impact.

We’re not just about hard work—we’re a fun, collaborative group that values camaraderie and purpose. Joining our board is a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative work while being part of a vibrant team.

    Commitment & Responsibilities

    • Time Commitment: Approximately 4 hours per month, with additional time during peak months (e.g., annual fundraising drives).
    • Meetings: Held every other month (online), with plans for an in-person meeting in the U.S. or Honduras annually or biannually.
    • Term: One-year renewable term.
    • Compensation: This is a volunteer position.

    Who Should Apply?

If you’re ready to use your skills, experience, and passion to make a tangible difference in Honduras and contribute to an organization in an exciting growth phase, we’d love to hear from you!
