    Description

We are seeking an innovative and passionate Research and Advocacy Lead to establish PAGE Africa as a credible voice in student wellness. This individual will lead the creation of impactful content and programs that provide value to students and advocate for their needs.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As our Research and Advocacy Lead, you will transform our ideas into powerful, tangible resources that can change students' lives. You will be the architect of our knowledge-based initiatives.

    • Program Development: Design and launch our first-ever research program for students, guiding them to explore topics related to student well-being in Nigeria.
    • Content Creation Leadership: Lead the end-to-end creation of our Mental Health Toolkit, from research and writing to design and distribution.
    • Creative Project Management: Oversee the planning and production of a powerful documentary focused on student mental health, coordinating with any necessary freelancers or partners.
    • Advocacy and Dissemination: Translate research findings and key messages into articles, social media campaigns, and policy briefs to advocate for better student support systems.

Who We're Looking For: Is This You?

    • A Curious and Analytical Mind: You have a strong research interest and are skilled at gathering, synthesising, and understanding information.
    • An Excellent Writer and Storyteller: You can take complex information and turn it into clear, engaging, and powerful content that resonates with students and stakeholders.
    • A Visionary Project Manager: You can take a big idea like a "toolkit" or "documentary" and break it down into manageable steps, leading the project from concept to completion.
    • A Proactive Leader: You are a self-starter who is excited by the challenge of building something new and can work independently to drive projects forward.
    • Passionate About Impact: You are driven by the desire to create resources that don’t just sit on a shelf, but actively help people and create change.

    Commitment Level

    • Time: Approximately 5-10 hours per week, flexible around key project deadlines.
    • Duration: A minimum commitment of 6 months to see a major project through a significant part of its lifecycle.
