This is a physical job. The volunteer should be able to lift boxes up to 30 lbs. Some time and work flexiblity is appreciated as there may be some additional light maintance tasks completed while waiting for the delivery truck to arrive.
Description
We are looking for a volunteer who can help us receive, organize and shelve food arriving for our food distribution program. Tuesday mornings a truck arrives with food that will be distributed that week. Volunteers help us organize the storage rooms and shelve the incoming food. This is a physical job as food boxes may weigh up toe 30 pounds. This job may also involve some light property maintenance while waiting for the truck to arrive since arrival times can vary.
