    Description

About the International Humanity Foundation (IHF)

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through education and grassroots leadership. Operating across five continents, IHF maintains a unique "University" structure where volunteers collaborate to manage our centers in Kenya, Thailand, and Indonesia. We believe in transparency, ethical leadership, and the power of shared knowledge to create sustainable global change.

Role Overview: "The Workplace Harmony Unit"

In a 100% remote global organization, our digital chatrooms (Skype, WhatsApp, etc.) are our physical offices. The Chat Monitors Team ensures these spaces remain professional, secure, and supportive. Working closely with the Calendar and New Members teams, you act as the digital peacekeepers who maintain our "Healthy Communication" standards across all time zones.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Etiquette Oversight: Monitor internal communication channels to ensure all interactions adhere to IHF’s professional standards and ethical guidelines.
    • Conflict Mediation: Act as a neutral first point of contact to identify and flag communication breakdowns or policy violations.
    • Security Management: Ensure only authorized active members are present in team-specific chatrooms, working with the Passwords team to maintain digital security.
    • Leadership Training & Mentorship: Develop and lead training sessions for new members on "Digital Diplomacy" and the distinction between social and professional digital spaces.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Emotional Intelligence: High level of empathy and objectivity when navigating interpersonal dynamics.
    • Integrity: Absolute discretion and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professional silence.
    • Observation Skills: A proactive eye for detail and the ability to spot potential issues before they escalate.
    • Ideal Background: Excellent for those interested in Human Resources, Communications, or Conflict Resolution.

    Benefits of Joining This Team

    • HR & Ethics Experience: Gain practical skills in organizational culture and remote workspace management.
    • Global Exposure: Observe the inner workings and communication styles of every division within IHF.
    • Certification: Receive an official certificate of service documenting your role in maintaining IHF’s professional digital infrastructure.
