    Description

Aging Ahead’s Wentzville Senior Center is seeking flexible volunteers to step in when regular volunteers are unavailable. If you enjoy variety and want to make a difference on your own schedule, this is a great fit!

    Substitute opportunities include:

      • Kitchen and Dining Room - Assist with meal service, dishwashing, light clean-up, preparing coffee and tea, and helping keep the dining area welcoming and organized (Proof of Hep A vaccination required; training provided)
      • Activity helper – Support staff with games and activities—may include setting up crafts, calling bingo, and engaging with participants
      • Reception – Greet participants, assist with lunch and activity sign-ups, and occasionally answer the phone

Volunteers may choose to sub in one area or all three.

Schedule: The center is open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Substitute needs vary by day and time.

Why this role is great: Perfect for retirees or anyone with a flexible schedule who wants to stay active, meet new people, and give back—without a weekly commitment.
