    Description

    Become a Hospice Certified Volunteer

How well do you understand the hospice philosophy?

Elara Caring Hospice invites you to come learn more about hospice and become a hospice certified volunteer. As a hospice certified volunteer, you will pick from two disciplines to assist with individualized tasks. Disciplines include: Social Workers, Bereavement Coordinator, Chaplains, Nurses, Patient Visitor and Office Support. This program is excellent for any student in the medical field or in a career path serving the public. You will gain field experience working with a variety of disciplines. You will also learn the hospice philosophy while making a difference to others. This would look GREAT on medical / graduate school applications and resumes.

If you are interested in donating your time to others, you can check out our website at www.elara.com or email our Volunteer Coordinator directly at: klankey@elara.com for more information.

    We offer FLEXIBLE volunteer schedules.
