    Description

    Become a Butterfly Ambassador at the Butterfly House!

    Role Description:

    Spend a day with butterflies at the Butterfly House! Come to one of our Butterfly Ambassador training sessions this spring to get started!

    Volunteers assist guests entering and exiting the Tropical Conservatory. You will also be trained to assist guests with redeeming their "butterfly release" near the Conservatory Exit once they are purchased at the admissions desk.

    Requirements:

    • Must be 14 years of age or older
    • Long periods of standing, bending, and able to lift 25 pounds.
    • The volunteer should be able to assist with a minimum of two shifts per month.

    Scheduling:

    • Training sessions are 4:00-5:00pm on April 24, April 29, May 7, May 14, May 20, and May 29.
    • After completing training, shifts will be available in the mornings and afternoons on Tuesdays-Sundays
