    Description

Volunteer Development & Fundraising Lead (Remote)

Hope Survives is growing, and we’re seeking a mission-aligned volunteer to help build a strong, sustainable funding foundation for the work ahead.

This role is ideal for someone who understands fundraising as a system - not just campaigns - and who’s excited to help shape how an organization grows its revenue over time. You’ll work closely with leadership to strengthen donor relationships, explore funding opportunities, and help lay the groundwork for long-term sustainability.

    What You’ll Do

    • Help develop and refine a fundraising strategy aligned with organizational priorities
    • Support individual giving efforts, including donor outreach and stewardship
    • Research and assess grant and sponsorship opportunities (with support from leadership)
    • Contribute to donor engagement initiatives and fundraising communications
    • Help lay the groundwork for sustainable revenue growth, including donor pipelines and funding priorities
    • Collaborate with leadership and the Fundraising Committee as the function matures

    Who This Is For

    • Someone with experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit strategy, or related fields
    • Comfortable working independently in a growing organization
    • Organized, thoughtful, and values-driven
    • Interested in helping build something, not just maintaining what already exists

    Time Commitment

    • Flexible and remote
    • Approximately 5–10 hours per week
    • Volunteer role

This is a volunteer role with a clear opportunity to transition into a paid, part-time or fractional position as funding grows and milestones are met, based on organizational capacity and impact achieved.

Your work will directly support programs, support groups, education, and community connection for people navigating life after brain injury. This is a meaningful opportunity to apply your skills where they truly matter.

We’d love to hear from you.
