    About LoopRoots Foundation

    LoopRoots Foundation is a rapidly growing nonprofit organization supporting justice-impacted individuals and families through transportation access, housing support, workforce development, food access initiatives, wellness support, reentry services, and community-based programming across multiple states.

    We are currently seeking Volunteer Grant Writers to join our growing development team immediately.

    Position Overview

    LoopRoots Foundation is looking for motivated and mission-driven individuals who are passionate about nonprofit growth, social impact, and community development. Volunteers will assist with grant research, proposal drafting, funding outreach, sponsorship opportunities, and organizational development efforts.

    This is an excellent opportunity for:

    • New or experienced grant writers
    • Students seeking nonprofit experience
    • Retired professionals
    • Individuals building their portfolio
    • Professionals passionate about social impact and reentry support

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with researching grant opportunities
    • Help draft grant proposals and letters of inquiry
    • Support sponsorship and donor outreach
    • Organize grant tracking and deadlines
    • Collaborate with leadership and program teams
    • Assist with foundation and corporate funding applications

    Volunteer Requirements

    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Passion for community impact and nonprofit work
    • Prior grant writing experience is helpful but not required

    Orientation & Immediate Onboarding

    We are onboarding volunteers immediately.

    5. Attach their resume

    Weekly Orientation Calls:

    • Mondays at 11:00 AM MST
    • Fridays at 11:00 AM MST
