    Description

Volunteer for NW Children's Foundation's 2026 Gala + Auction: UNITE!

UNITE, NW Children's Foundation's 41st Annual Gala + Auction, will take on May 2, 2026, at Fremont Studios in Seattle!

The NWCF Gala is always high-end and high energy; in addition to a fabulous dinner by Chef John Howie, guests will enjoy premium wines, great entertainment and stupendous items auctioned by the engaging Fred Northup.

Proceeds from the event will be the primary source of funding for NWCF’s spring grants, which go out to heroic partner agencies working to heal children, strengthen families and empower youth. Learn more about NW Children’s Foundation at nwcf.org.

    Schedule Basics:

    3:30 PM - Volunteer Orientation/Training/Set -Up/Early Registrations

5:30-7:00 PM - Doors Open, Silent Auction & Wine Reception: Volunteer opportunities include registration, coat check, wine-tasting and bar-sales support, raffle ticket sellers, and silent-auction attendants and closers.

7:00-9:30 PM - Dinner and Live Auction: During this time, volunteer roles include live auction runners, spotters and recorders; data entry and reconciliation; and packaging of items.

9:30-10:30 PM - Check-Out/Clean-Up: Volunteers tasks include packaging guest purchases, assisting at check-out, and cleaning up/organizing NWCF’s supplies and other materials after the event ends at 10:00.

    Other Helpful Information:

    • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, responsible, and excited about working hard to support a great cause. (Community service hours are available.)
    • We will feed you at the event.
    • Each volunteer may register for their own bid card so they can join in the bidding fun.
    • Event costs are covered by sponsors and ticket sales, so every dollar raised the night of the Gala will go toward building brighter futures for our community’s children and youth.

We would be thrilled to have your participation this year. We owe the success of our events to all the hardworking volunteers like you!
