Join us in Honoring Our Heroes! The Frank C. Godfrey American Legion Post 12 is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us make the Norwalk Memorial Day Parade a success. Whether you’re a creative designer, a logistical pro, or just want to give back to our veterans, we have a spot for you!

Available Volunteer Roles:

• 📢 Publicity Team (Urgent!): Help us recruit local organizations to march in the parade. Perfect for those with great communication skills and community connections.
• 🎨 Float Creators: Get creative! Help design and build floats centered around meaningful themes like POW-MIA, America 250, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
• 🚧 Staging Area Crew: Help us keep things moving! Roles include numbering barrels at Veterans Memorial Park and monitoring traffic along Washington Street.
• 🍽️ Post 12 Servers: Assist with the reception after the parade at Post 12. Help serve food and provide a warm welcome to our participants and guests.
• 🧹 Cleanup Crew: Help us leave the reception area spotless after the event. A quick but vital role to wrap up a great day.
