    Treasurer (Volunteer Position)

    Consider supporting the Lincoln Park Farmers Market by serving as our Board Treasurer

    Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market, DBA Lincoln Park Farmers Market, is seeking a new volunteer Treasurer to join our Board of Directors.

    The Board Treasurer will shape the financial structure of our organization. Support local farmers and other small businesses, foster community connections, and promote sustainable, healthy living through food access and educational programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the financial planning, budgeting and reporting
    • Prepare financial statements
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local financial regulations
    • Coordinate the preparation and filing of annual tax returns and financial documents
    • Attend board meetings.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in accounting, finance, and nonprofit reporting
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Commitment to the mission and values of Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market.
    • Local is preferred but will consider out-of-state-US
